Debrecen, Great Forest: Goldcrest at the pool

A successful day

The first chiffchaffs have arrived:

And here's one of my favourites whose subtle voice can be heared often near the scots pine but quite seldom comes to the pool and then it's difficult to catch because of its swift move:

This year's bathing pool has been finished. The winter guests are still here so they use the pool frequently ...:

I hoped that the bathing pool would be visited sometime by birds of prey. This happened today as a sparrow hawk landed on it and was drinking some water:

Then it had a bath and flew away.
