Mikepércs: Only The Usual ...

Despite of the sunshine, I didn't experience a diverse bird offer. Only the usual species came:

Mikepércs: Some Snow

It's been snowing during the night. Though it's winter, the photos with snow are becoming special nowadays.

The pheasant cock appears this time again, however as soon as he climbs a branch that tips under his weight, he becomes frightened and retires. But his hunger overcomes his fear and he returns to the seeds:

What a neck:

A hawfinch lands, ...:

... then to my great surprise a small flock of yellowhammers. Two of them rushes across the frozen pool, but unfortunately I'm not able to take a decent shot of them.

In the end a male blackbird comes to the pool to have look round:

Mikepércs: Nuthatches In Focus Again

I focused on the nuthatches on today's photography, but other birds could be expected as well.
For example among the tits a siskin appears:

A small flock of tree sparrows come to feed from the seeds as well:

Mikepércs: Nuthatch

This morning I have a try at the feeder again, focusing on the nuthatches:

The weather is still mild, so the birds can wade in the pool:

Mikepércs: Visiting The Feeder

I placed the feeder three days ago at the usual place and I planned photography for this morning.
Arriving at the hide I notice among the tits and the sparrows a nuthatch arriving at the feeder. My presence doesn't seem to disturb it, though I'm walking about 3 meters of it.
After having arranged the "stage" the tits are coming:

The nuthatch appears as well, but not alone, there are two of them.
One of them finds something in the moss. A real worm!

It looks as if it was surprised by finding the worm, ...:

Lake Fancsika: Dew Again

A got some dew again at the Lake Fancsika this morning.
I've taken up my post on the water before sunrise, hoping to catch the beautiful colours of the rising sun and the dew.
Nothing comes close for a while then suddenly I notice a curious little grebe nearby:

Opposite to me appear the first rays of sun, the coots however are a little far but still visible behind the dew:

Some quarreling:

When I get to the shore the swan family appear, the youngs trying their wings while running on the water, the adults after taking off are flying two full circles above the water, perhaps to show the youngs how to fly:
