Mikepércs: Shrike

Photographing the bee-eaters I discovered another place nearby where there are other birds too, like red-backed shrikes and stonechats. Today I'm having a try on this place.
The male shrike is just coming:

There are youngs as well but this time they stay away.

Mikepércs: Bee-Eaters V.

The fifth opportunity at the bee-eaters:

One's private zone is difficult to keep on this short branch:

One of the birds arrives with a butterfly ...:

... which is dusting like hell:

Mikepércs: Bee-Eaters IV.

This is the fourth time at the bee-eaters' place:

Suddenly a small bird appears on the landing branch. At first sight I think it's a stonechat but I realize soon that's something different: a barn swallow:

After a short rest it flies away but soon another swallow lands. Then another flies in:

The swallows leave soon and give up their seat to the bee-eaters:

Mikepércs: Bee-Eaters III.

This morning there was some fog in the meadow. It didn't last long but the bee-eaters were not too active:

Mikepércs: Bee-Eaters II.

I'm giving another try at the bee-eaters' place.
Shortly after their arrival I can hear some patter noise from above. I realize that raindrops are pattering on the top of my hide :)
The rain appears on the images as well but it doesn't last long:

It looks like the birds don't always enjoy each others company:

A little attention from the partner:

Of course, before giving it over the sting should be eliminated from the gift:

It is bad manner giving back the gift:

Meanwhile the sun shines brighter and brighter:

Spitting out a pellet:

Something is very dusty somewhere here:

By backlight one could think that all these things are happening on a starry night:
