Mikepércs: Siskin

Some sunshine was to be expected for today, so I prepared for some scenes.
It's not cold today, the snow is melting. After some time in the hide I can hear a few siskins nearby. Soon one of them lands on the corner of the pool:

The tits are landing frequently on the landing branch:

Mikepércs: Snowing

I didn't plan any photography for today, in fact I just wanted to fill up the feeder. On my way to the hide however it started to snow. I took the seeds to the feeder, but I decided to fetch the camera, as one doesn't have a big chance to get some snowing just on weekend.
The birds are coming, however they don't land on the place where I would like to.
Even a chaffinch appears, ...:

... moreover a brambling also lands, but not on the right place.
A bit later the woodpecker comes too:

To tell the truth, I expected more when I got into the hide with the camera... Well, such things happen...

Mikepércs: New Year's Day Photography

It's new year's day. Going to a morning photography at this time is special because there's nobody on the streets of the village, everyone is sleeping at this hour. The birds don't!
The morning is very cloudy, so I can only get photos of the motionless birds:

I catch sight of a female brambling on the ground. It lands after a while on the landing branch, ...:

The nuthatches appear as well:

In silence, as usual, a pheasant cock walks in too, and having found the seeds behind the pool starts to pick them up. When I try to photograph him he raises his head, ...:

... but as he doesn't notice anything special, goes on feeding. When finished walks off in silence.
