It' quite overcast this morning, but some snowing could be expected according to the weather prophets. I hope so. But the hoary environment is assured already. Birds are coming to the prepared landing places one after the other:
Tree Sparrow
Great Spotted Woodpecker (female)
Marsh Tit
Jay
Even the nuthatch appears a few times:

For my greatest delight some snowflakes start to appear:

Snowing is getting more and more intense:

However it doesn't last long, but at least some snow appears on the photos:

Two great tits are landing simultaneously:

After the seeds the birds could do with some water, but the some fresh snow will do as well. First a hawfinch, ...:
Hawfinch (male)
... then a great spotted woodpecker starts to "snap" some snow:

It's snowing again, but the fallen snow is melting quickly:

Defending the "best place":

Snowing is getting over slowly. But I leave delighted as I managed to record some winter feeling today.
