Mikepércs: Drying Pond

I've been at the pond this morning. I hoped I could photograph the shore birds and the ducks at better light conditions this time. The little ringed plovers appeared early, the first rays of the rising sun enlighted beautifully this young bird:

Further an avocet landed to search for food in the shallow water:

On the shore in front of the hide the plovers were moving continuously:

Later the young coots appeared as well. Some of them had the full plumage already, ...:

... others made their morning exercise with just small feathers on their wings.

Then it started to run like a roadrunner:
