Mikepércs: Some Surprises

The morning starts with a little surprise: Two hoopoes appear around the hide:

Moreover, one of them even gets into the hide searching something around my feet, knocking my shoes... After a while it leaves.

Then comes another little surprise: a wood warbler:

It has a fast bath then get away.

But a blackbird lands as well:

The hawfinches come regularly to drink:

 At the bathing pool again:

Mikepércs: What's New At The Pool?

It's the first time that I'm having a try at the bathing pool this year. A tree pipit appears at once and walks around the pool a few times:

Then a song thrush appears:

In the spring I give a try with flowering twigs, last year it didn't work out but now I succeeded, a blackcap landed on it:

Vekeri-Lake: Black Stork

A week ago I discovered a black stork at Vekeri-Lake and this morning I went for it.

The morning began with mallards, egrets and grey herons, ...:

... then the black stork flew in:

It gulped a few fish then flew away.

Padis: Moments From January

Perhaps there is some snow left on the trees at Padis... I started with this hope to Padis at dawn on Saturday. And there was, but only on places protected from the sun, as the valley of Crișul Pietros river:
