Făgăraș: Redstarts

In July I aimed for the Făgăraș and Retezat mountains again combined with a rest at Padiş where I could make some good shots on grey wagtails last year. This time I couldn't see many of them at the Ponor Meadow, I recorded only a white wagtail:

I arrived at Făgăraș in rainy weather but it was worth climbing on the Capra peak next morning:

In the afternoon it was the birds' turn:

June In Făgăraș Mountains

The Transfăgărășan road has been opened today and I thought I would visit the Bâlea Lake. I arrived in foggy weather, ....:

... which lasted until next morning:

The Enchanting Ciucaș Mountains

I arrived in the evening in the Ciucaș Mountains. For my greatest surprise I saw a grazing red deer near the parking place:

October In Slovenia

I spent a week in October this year in Slovenia. My first stop was at Bled:

Next day I took my way to Kobarid. The Big Kozjak ...:
