Western Tatras

In August I took my way to Western Tatras for a week. I spent 3 nights at Chata pod Náružím chalet. Mornings the crest was covered by clouds:

My accomodation for the next 3 days was at Ťatliakova chalet, I started from there to discover the Roháčky valley:

I spent a long weekend at the lake of Štrbské. I spent the two foggy days with bird photography with not a rich result:

Great Fatra

 

I haven't been to Fatra mountains yet, but I got here in the end of October. On the first day I made a tour touching Tlstá and Ostrá peaks. At the Tlstá peak I found a group of resting chamois:

I was mostly curious about the spectacular peak of Ostrá:

It's impressive! I will return to this place in the future! :)

On my way home I stopped for a few shots at the foot of the High Tatras:

High Tatras: At The Green Lake Again

This time I went to one of my favourite places: to the Green Lake in High Tatras. In autumn I haven't been here yet. I counted on some more colorful trees but the place is beautiful anyway:

You can meet these confidential alpine accentors practically on every peak:

I spent here four beautiful days but next time I have to come here a little later when the trees are even more colorful. :)

 

High Tatras: Winter At The Chalet At Green Lake

A good start of the year! :) The first week of January is in the administrative break, so I decided to spend a few days in High Tatras, it must be some snow there even if there's none in the lower regions. However I had to realise that even at 2000 meters there's not too much snow. My last destination was the Chalet at Green Lake. The situation was better there, as it was snowing a little during the previous days. Towards the end of the valley the landscape was getting nice:
