Mikepércs: Black-tailed Godwit In Backlight

Sunshine is expected for today, the sky is clear when I set off.
There was no rain last week which is visible as the water has shrunk considerably so I have to drag the hide onwards.
Except of the coots near the opposite bank there aren't really any birds nearby for a long time.
Then slowly the ruffs arrive with one or two godwits among them.
The sun begins to rise when one of the black-winged stilts comes closer:

Suddenly another godwit arrives and bundles this one off, but it returns shortly:

Later a few common greenshanks and a spotted redshank turn up but I don't manage to take good shots of them.
The stilts don't quarrel tims time:

I expected the godwits to turn up again this morning. It's overcast, however I'm happy to see some haze above the water, ...:

 ... moreover a godwit is coming in the greyness:

The godwit is not alone, I perceive at least three of them hearing their cry from here and there:

Some time later the stilts start crying and quarreling:

I can hear known sounds again: a couple of redshanks lands, the male starts his courtship: he starts beating rapidly with his wings raising onto his toes behind the female and "yodelling":

Unfortunately they don't mate this time, instead they run away.
However a couple of avocets arrive, they probe and adjust their new nest, ...:

Through the side window I discover a godwit again: it's scratching itself, ...:

The sun starts to shine intensively so I leave the hide.

Mikepércs: Some Haze

There was some rain yesterday, so when I set off to the pond I realize there is some haze! And when there is haze on the road then there haze is at the pond as well!
I'm waiting in the hide for the actions to happen ... at the moment I can see that the birds are far from me.
Then two black-winged stilts are drawing on in the haze:

Soon other stilts are coming and a short jarring takes place:

They are crying, chasing and pecking each other, before one of the couples leaves, so the others calm down and continue searching for food:

Soon a spotted redshank appears, ...:

... then lapwings arrive but they are far from me.

The stilts are chasing each other again:

Meanwhile I observe the court of the little ringed plovers on the shore, unfortunately the surroundings is not so good.
A mallard is taking off a little farther:

Suddenly I catch sight of one of the black-tailed godwits which I longed for. It has just landed among the ruffs. After some time the godwit comes closer, unfortunately near the reed, so I can't photograph it well. The redshank and the spotted redshank however are at the right distance:
