The photos taken last time at the pool made me happy, so I'm sitting in the hide this morning again. And the birds don't let me down this time either:
Today the young tits appeared at the pool:
A jay arrives at the "bath":
It's bathing intensively:
A blackcap arrives too:
Then the hawfinches appear:
Finally, a female blackcap has a bath too:
It's a sunny morning. I'm struggling with the strong light. The birds are coming to have a bath one after the other: spotted flycatcher, jay, ...:
This morning I got into the hide at the pool with high hopes. I didn't have to wait long as I soon heard then caught sight of the first surprise on a branch: A male collard flycatcher! It landed on the side of the pool but left at once. What a pity!
Then the second pleasant surprise appeared: a wood warbler started to search an appropriate place for bathing, ...:
... and it did find it:
