Mikepércs: Wasp Spider

I visited the meadow nearby this morning looking for macro themes. There were not many arthropods, but I could select from many wasp spider cobwebs:

Last time there was nothing to photograph at the pond, so this morning I went for macro shooting near the village.
Thanks to the cold dawn the dew drops are lining up beautifully on cobweb strings:

The dew drops look nice on the plants by backlight:

The cobwebs of the linyphia are well highlightened by the dew drops:

Suddenly the cobweb starts to quiver and I notice the numb spider crawling slowly up the cobweb like a lazy sailor on the mast:

Then it's starting to climb down as if it has just inspected that everything is all right up there:

This afternoon I went for some flower shots, but I couldn't find a decent theme, but on my way home I shot this photo of a cross spider:

I found a Spurge Hawk-moth in the form of a colorful caterpillar:

This morning I found many wasp spiders near the village on a weedy area. The cobwebs are decorated by tiny dewdrops:

In the afternoon when I visited the place again almost every wasp spider had its prey in the cobweb.
