Mikepércs: Water Rails And Wagtails

Today I aimed at taking shots of the rails, hoping that the spotted crake would present itself again.
The young water rails came out in beautiful lights again:

Of course the young white wagtails ...:

... and the young yellow wagtails appeared early as well:

Eventually the crakes didn't come out from the vegetation, maybe next time.

Mikepércs: Spotted Crake

Today I was expecting especially the water rails again at the pond. They were lurking in the thick vegetation and didn't get out of there. However I noticed another bird at the margin of the reed-mace: a spotted crake, which is more rare than the water rail. What a pleasant surprise! Unfortunately it was a bit far, but soon came closer and was walking out from the vegetation:

After a few picks on the open place it rushed back into the thickness and never came forward again.
I have already met it near Debrecen a few years ago, but then I didn't manage to take a good shot of it.

Then came the wood sandpipers, having a short rest:

One of them was walking by quite close to me:

The young white wagtails were hunting nearby as usual:

At last, one of the water rails came out of the reed-mace:

A young bluethroat landed many times on the dried ground to catch a few insects:

The white wagtails sometimes broke into a run with such a speed after a flying insect that it was impossible to follow them most of the time:

Last time I moved my hide to the opposite side of the pondbed as I wanted to try and catch the moorhens. I wondered if they would get in front of me today. 

The wagtails appeared first this morning, young white and yellow wagtails were very active near the hide. The wood sandpipers walked in front of me too:

Then came a surprise: a young water rail came out of the thick reed-mace. But an other one was lurking there too. They always stayed close to the thick vegetation and they left it at most a few meters sometimes. One of them came too close to the hide so I couldn't take shots of it. Moreover, I noticed that they like to get under my hide as there is a space of about 10 cm-s between the bottom of  it and the ground. Obviously it must have searched for insects there. Tappings on the bottom of the hide indicated that it hunted there successfully.

Meanwhile a wood sandpiper was searching for food nearby as well:

The white and the yellow wagtails were picking up insects continously:

Later a lapwing came in for a short time:

Then the young moorhens came out of the reed-mace but I didn't manage to take good shots of them.

Tisza-lake: Day 3

When I woke up on the 3rd day the sun was hidden by some clouds:

I went on making flight shots. There were quite lots of white-winged black terns, yellow-legged gulls and black-headed gulls flying close to me:

I waited a lot for the marsh harrier to come, as I saw it flying on this place yesterday. Then it appeared suddenly:

Fortunately there was not a strong sunlight which had a good effect on the images, on the other hand the light clouds didn't give a nice background.
